Nile Felucca Adventure

According to the program

Enjoy the  riding a traditional Felucca sailboat that has been used by ancient Egyptians until now.
The boat is equipped with bathroom and Sundeck that makes it comfortable for traveling between Aswan to Edfu.
Dance like a Nubian while sitting around bonfire.
Sleep under the stars and swim in the Nile.
Chat with locals to know more about the Nubian culture and traditions.

Visit Daraw village that famous for vegetables market and the centre for selling camels that brought from Sudan. The Camel market takes place every Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays.
Visit the ancient sightseeing along the Nile such as Kom Ombo and  Temples, Moreover, The unique sandstone quarry Gebel El-silsila.

The trip is 5 days and 4 nights. Choose according to the program per night.

Meeting point

  • Elephantine Island Ferry boat , next to KFC , Nile Corniche, Aswan

    You can walk along Aswan kornish or catch a taxi to KFC Aswan.

Tour Plan

Day 1 Board at 10 am to enjoy the view of Nile banks while sailing on the Felucca untill Sunset towards Daraw town

Qubbet el-Hawa (Pass By)

We will meet you at Elephantine Island Ferry boat , next to KFC Aswan at 10 am to board the Felucca sailboat and sail until Sunset. Relax on board while enjoying the view of the Nile, landscape and green plantation along the Nile banks. Enjoy fresh and delicious meals are cooked by the Crew. Lunch and dinner.
Day 2 Visit Daraw village (Camel market Saturdays, e Sundays), then visit Kom Ombo Temple and sail untill Sunset

Temple of Kom Ombo

In the morning you will sail to reach Daraw village, then you will ride a local transport to visit the vegetable market. On Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays there is a unique experience to visit the Camel market. Hop on Felucca for sailing for couple of hours to reach Kom Ombo Temple. The Temple is dedicated to the ancient Gods (Sobek the Crocodile and Horus the Falcon). Hop on the boat and continue sailing until Sunset.
Day 3 Gabel el Silsila sandstone quarry that was wildly used to cut thousands of stones used to build the magnificent Temples.

In the morning set on sailing until you reach Gebel El-silsila in the afternoon. The sandstone quarry that had been used to build the giant temples in ancient Egypt. Hop on the Felucca and sail until Sunset.
Day 4 Breakfast and disembark Felucca

Temple of Horus

This morning you will enjoy your breakfast and disembark the Felucca sailboat, then hop on your private transportation to visit Edfu Temple. The best preserved Temple in Egypt. Hop on the private transport to be transferred to your hotel in Luxor.
